Over the course of this workshop, we will explore a variety of audition situations and work on:

How to create a diverse book that covers all the bases.

Taking direction and making strong choices on the spot.

Tips on 32 and 16 bar cuts.

What to expect at a musical theatre EPA/ECC.

Headshots and resumes.

How to best present yourself.

The session consists of two 3 hour classes that will be run as a series of "mock auditions". Sing what you do best. The trusty old stand-by that you pull out at every musical audition. Expect to find new and exciting ways to make the song fresh and exciting, but still your own.

Sunday: MOCK AUDITION FOR A ROLE IN A SHOW RECENTLY ON BROADWAY.
At the end of Saturday's session, you will be assigned an audition packet for a role that you are right for.
